Jeff teaches an Ashtanga-Inspired class which links breath (pranayama) and movement (vinyasa). He uses his knowledge of the body and asana to bring strength, flexibility, and stamina for a well-rounded complete practice. This class will begin with a quick assessment of student needs and desires for the class followed by a brief warm up of Sun Salutation A’s and B’s. This will include arm balances and inversions. Previous yoga experience highly suggested and recommended. This will NOT be a basic level class and is classified as a level 2 class. Alignment cues and hands on adjustments wills be offered throughout class. Duration 90 min.
Jeff is an experienced 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider. He has attended workshop intensives with Ashtanga teachers, Kino Macgregor, David Garrigues, Tim Feldmann, Sivananda Instructor Robert Moses, and Master Iyengar teacher, Francois Raoult, and workshops with Doug Keller and Ramanand Patel. He completed Massage School with Advanced Massage Therapeutics and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Combining his love for yoga and massage, he is continuing his education with Thai Yoga Massage. He uses his knowledge of anatomy and the traditions of Yoga to inform his classes, creating classes that are alignment based, challenging and fun. Jeff holds a Master of Arts Degree from Western Kentucky University.
